My AluCab Defender 130, was probably the coolest vehicle I ever built for myself, and was extensively kitted for extreme long term overland travel. Listed below are some of the notable modifications to this vehicle.

  • Custom AluCab habitat camper

  • 2, 50L fresh water tanks

  • 250L long range fuel tank

  • 200w of solar

  • Big bore suspension with long travel arms

  • Fully renovated cab interior

  • Full AMC engine rebuild

The build included a full underbody rust inhibitor spray that would protect the chassis, and larger MT tires, perfect for the tire shredding conditions you’ll be faced with in Africa

To finish it all off, the truck was sprayed Twisted Bahama gold, one of my favorite colors. Never offered before on the defenders, this custom paint job really made this expedition truck a real head turner.
